What is SquibTurf?
SquibTurf is a social media app that allows users to share photos and
videos with location-based content. Users can create "squibs" - short
posts with media and captions. Available on both iOS and Android
devices.
How do I create a squib?
Tap the camera button to take a photo or record a video. Add a caption
and post your squib to share with others in your area. You can also
flip between front and back cameras using the flip button.
Why does the app need location access?
SquibTurf uses your location to show you content from people in your
area and to tag your posts with location information. This helps
create a local community experience.
How do I change my privacy settings?
iOS: Go
to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > SquibTurf to
manage location permissions.
Android: Go to Settings > Apps > SquibTurf >
Permissions to manage location, camera, and storage permissions.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account directly from the app. Go to your Profile
page (tap the gear icon), then tap "Delete Account" in the Settings
section. You'll be asked to confirm your decision twice before the
account is permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone and will
remove all your data including your profile, posts, and account
information.
I'm having trouble with the camera
iOS: Go
to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera > SquibTurf and ensure
camera access is enabled.
Android: Go to Settings > Apps > SquibTurf >
Permissions > Camera and ensure camera access is enabled. If the
camera flip isn't working, try restarting the app.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Tap the three dots on any squib and select "Report" to flag
inappropriate content for review. Our team will review reported
content within 24-48 hours.
The app is running slowly or crashing
iOS: Try closing the app completely (swipe up from
bottom and swipe the app away), then restart it. If issues persist,
try restarting your device.
Android: Try clearing the app cache: Settings >
Apps > SquibTurf > Storage > Clear Cache. If issues persist, try
restarting your device or reinstalling the app.
How do I update the app?
iOS: Open the App Store, tap your profile icon,
then tap "Updates" to see available updates for SquibTurf.
Android: Open Google Play Store, tap your profile
icon, then tap "Manage apps & device" > "Updates available" to see
available updates for SquibTurf.
Can I use SquibTurf on multiple devices?
Yes! You can use SquibTurf on multiple devices by signing in with the
same account. Your profile, posts, and settings will sync across all
your devices.
